From Chenonceau: Hot Air Balloon Ride above the Loire Valley

The hot air balloon ride takes place either at sunset or at sunrise when the air is cool and stable and the wind is calm. The incredible experience takes place in the air above The Loire Valley in France and the valley has become a popular balloon ride base due to its beautiful landscape infused with architectural masterpieces such as The Châteaux of the Loire Valley.
During the balloon flight the guide will share their knowledge about the region and its rivers, villages and chateaux while you are overlooking them from the balloon basket.
This activity is not suitable for pregnant women and children under the age of 2.
From Amboise: Villandry, Wineries, & Family Castle
This full-day, 9.5 hours, excursion begins in the morning when the participants meet up with their guide to board the minivan that will be their means of transportation for the day.
The tour then begins with a visit to Chateau de Villandry where you will be moved back to life in 16-th century France as you walk through all the rooms. The gorgeous gardens of Villandry, including the ornamental kitchen garden, the classical water garden and the maze, have hidden corners from where to get the best views of the chateau. Your guide will share their knowledge of the chateau and the gardens as you move through them.
Next stop is a family owned chateau that is still inhabited, Château de l'Islette, where the participants get the chance to meet the owners and see the most intimate and personal rooms of the chateau while also finding out what their daily life is like. You also get to savor a glass of lovely aperitif in the park, near the river, and taste a sample glass of local wine together with a tasty local delicacy.
After this the minivan goes to Tours where it will park in front of the Tourist Office for 30 minutes free time and maybe get something to eat or snack before continuing the day’s activities.
At this point the tour goes to Vouvray and a grand wine house and a family wine estate situated along the Loire River. Your guide will help you better understand the diversity of the local wines. The participants get to learn the different steps of wine tasting and train their noses to identify some of the many wine aromas.
At the end of the experience you will be treated to an aperitif made of local products like fresh bread, cheese and rillettes – a perfect match for the local wines, matched up with a stunning view.
From Tours: Retro Classic Sidecar Ride
Experience a tour of the city of Tours, France comfortably seated in a vintage sidecar attached to a motorcycle driven by an experienced local guide. The tour will take you past all the highlights of the city and if you want to stop for a photograph somewhere just let the guide know and they will stop.
